Antala is a company specialized in the sale and implementation of chemical products and specialized equipment for industrial companies.
Founded in 1999 by Antonio and Alberto Argudo, the company has consolidated its position in the sector with constant growth and branches in Portugal, the United Kingdom and Ireland. It also belongs to the DGE chemicals group.
Since its beginnings, Antala has been committed to the cultural inclusion as an important asset in their group, as well as for continuous training to offer the best service to their customers. Likewise, the sostenibilidad is another factor that defines the company, which is always looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact, pollution and waste generation of its business activity with practices of efficient use of natural energy resources.
We interviewed Victor, one of the sons of the company's founder Antonio.

Organization and control in the warehouse.
Homogenize and simplify the processes of warehouse inventory, orders, stock, etc., with the implementation of Business Central and the Warehouse Pistol (more on this later in the article).
Victor tells us that they used to use Navision, which managed all the information by manually creating reports.
This meant many hours wasted on tasks that were not only tedious, but also allowed human error to occur.
In April 2022 is when the project started, testing in September and in December all the testing was closed and they started this January 2023 with the new environment.
According to Victor Argudo, one of Antonio Argudo's sons and interviewed for this article, they used to use Navision, which meant many hours lost in tedious tasks and allowed human error to occur. Since the implementation of the Warehouse Pistol, the dynamics and fluidity of work have improved significantly. "Since Adderit has been at the helm of the ERP and CRM project, productivity has improved tremendously.", Victor points out.
He also adds that ,- "The solutions implemented have been tailored to our needs. The business has a number of requirements that need to be adapted to the business model and Adderit has understood the task perfectly.
It has facilitated processes, access to information, fluidity and work dynamics."
"We have made plannings, of how according to our criteria, the implementation should be, but then experts like Adderit are the ones who have really advised us what really makes sense to do now and what later, where to invest time and resources now and where later. It's at that point that you realize that planning like this has to be done by an expert."
Adderit has been in charge of customizing the stages of the project and defining how and when the different phases should be carried out, which has saved time and unnecessary discomfort for the clients. In this regard, Victor highlights the organization, the definition of priorities and the support offered by the company. "On the start-up dates, you were by our side and that has given us incomparable support," he assures.
Stock failures due to human error and difficulty in making stock changes.
"We used to do everything manually in the warehouse. Everything. Paperwork was printed out in the office, with all the information and sent to the warehouse. And the person in the warehouse had to write down by hand the lot numbers, expiration, etc."
If you homogenize the processes you get 2 advantages: if I have to make a change, it is very easy, because I already have a method to do it and get everyone to work in the same way.
The second objective was to avoid stock failures.
Thanks to these 2 objectives achieved, processes can be streamlined and the stock is always well squared.
In addition, it is interesting that dysfunctions between office and warehouse staff have been avoided thanks to the transaction logs. This is an excellent example of how process standardization can lead to greater transparency and accountability in the workplace.
The implementation of the warehouse gun has been a great improvement in the efficiency and organization of the warehouse. The ability to access all important information with just one click has made the stock management process much easier and faster. In addition, the tool helps to avoid errors that are common in manual processes.
